Why the stack looks the way it does

Customers split into two deployment camps with opposite needs:

• Banks want it on-prem / in-country, inside their own security perimeter.
• Fintechs, PSPs, SACCOs will take multi-tenant SaaS.

Every component is therefore self-hostable, containerised, and built on open-source data stores with no hard dependency on a single cloud's proprietary services. Portability is a sales requirement, not a preference.
